Yes, there is even a cook book for that. All these drawings are for upcoming book by Carolyn Niethammer, Cooking the Wild Southwest, University of Arizona Press, coming in 2012.

It’s a book of wild and delicious recipes that you can respectfully harvest for free in vacant lots and desert locations. Also it’s an update of one of Niethammer’s previous books, the well-known Tumbleweed Gourmet, from UA Press, 1987 . I worked on these drawings? from my studio on Tumamoc Hill.
